GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs finished the first half of North Division play with a 3-3 record here Monday night after defeating the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers, 75-59.

The Lady Bulldogs led 17-11 after one quarter and 35-22 at halftime. The Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Bulldogs 21-18 in the third quarter before Holmes came back with a 22-16 fourth quarter. Holmes led by 19 in the second half and never trailed in the contest.
Aja Williams led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points while Laricka Morgan had 13, Cortrice Golden 12 and Minyone Hill had 10. Morgan had 11 rebounds and Williams had nine.
The Lady Bulldogs shot 47.6 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from the three-point line and 54.4 percent from the free throw line.
