Lady Bulldogs open the season today vs. Co-Lin

The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs have three returning players from last year's team that made both the MACJC/Region XXIII Tournaments.

Destiny Cyprian, 5'5 guard from Clinton, Lorissa Baker, 5'10 forward from Jackson and Lauren Brooks, 5'8 forward from Jackson, return to this year's team.

Newcomers include: Kamelia Lacy, 5'6 guard from Lexington; Deirdre Dobbins, 5'6 guard from Channelview, Texas; Vaquela Pimpton, 5'8 guard from Webb; Aneisha Evans, 5'8 guard from Gluckstadt; Tyaira Wilson, 5'10 forward from Jackson; Sharaey Jefferson, 5'5 guard from Lexington; Chelsea Holloway, 5'6 guard from Pickens; Nhamia Wilson, 5'8 guard from Tchula; Nina Carpenter, 6'4 center from Las Vegas, Nev.; Brittany Webster, 6'1 center from Lexington; and MiKayla Patton, 5'11 forward from Florence.

The season starts today versus Copiah-Lincoln at 6 p.m.
