Lady Bulldogs fall to Lady Lions, 61-50

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to 6-10 on the season and 2-4 in the North Division after falling to the Lady Lions of East Mississippi Community College, 61-50.

Holmes travels to Itawamba on Thursday at 6 p.m. You can watch live at http://www.letsgoicctv.com/RED. The Bulldogs return home vs. Delta at 6 p.m. Monday and home at 6 p.m. on Thursday vs. Northwest.

East Mississippi led 16-9 after one period and 31-21 at halftime. Holmes outscored East, 14-9, in the third before East Mississippi flipped the script again and outscored the Lady Bulldogs, 21-15, in the final period to preserve the win.

Holmes shot 29.7 percent from the floor, 19 percent from the three-point line and 100 percent from the free-throw line. Kamelia Lacy led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points while Nhamia Wilson had 10. Vaquela Pimpton and Nina Carpenter each had seven rebounds in the game.
