BOONEVILLE --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to Northeast Mississippi Community College Lady Tigers here Monday night, 80-61, in North Division action.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 8-12 overall and 4-6 in the North Division. Holmes hosts Coahoma in the final home game of the year next week on Monday at 6 p.m. and then travels to East Mississippi on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Northeast led 24-13 after one period of play before the Lady Bulldogs battled back to tie the game at 33 at halftime. The Lady Tigers pulled away by 19 after the third period outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 30-11 before both teams tied in the fourth period.
Kamelia Lacy led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points while Nina Carpenter had 10. Brittany Webster had six rebounds while Carpenter and MiKayla Patton each had five rebounds.
