Holmes falls to Copiah-Lincoln in season finale

WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell twice here to Copiah-Lincoln, 9-1 and 8-0 in the regular season finale.

In game one, Josie Azlin got the start and suffered the loss. Miley Billie and Tashika Carothers each had one hit with Billie adding a double.

In game two, Avery Smith got the start and suffered the loss. Hayley Pascal and Mauhree Jone also pitched in the game. Emma Fabre led with three hits including a double.

Against Itawamba on April 21, the Lady Bulldogs fell 9-1 and 13-5. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Chief Cyrus Ben recognized Bulldog players Miley Billie, Alyssa Sockey, Lauren Frazier and Mauhree Jones along with Head Coach Matt Hudson, Holmes President Dr. Jim Haffey and Athletic Director Andy Wood prior to the contests.

In game one, Smith got the start and suffered the loss. Pascal pitched in the game. Lauren Frazier had a solo homerun in the game.

In game two, Azlin got the start and suffered the loss. Jones and Pascal also pitched in the game. Fabre led with two hits. Allie Henderson, McKenzie Blue, Billie and Carothers each doubled in the game.

Against Pearl River on April 17, the Lady Bulldogs fell 7-0 and 9-3.

In game one, Smith suffered the loss. Jones also pitched in the game. Kamiyah Stephens led with two hits including a double.

In game two, Azlin suffered the loss. Pascal, Presley Scarbrough and Jones also pitched in the game. Karly Garner led with two hits including a double. Alyssa Sockey also had a double.
