RIDGELAND --- The No. 4 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season today with a 2-0 win over Dallas College-Brookhaven. Dallas-Brookhaven is the No. 3 team in NJCAA Division III soccer.

Holmes returns to action on Friday in St. Louis at 8 p.m. vs. St. Louis. They then play Northeast at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Holmes took a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute on a goal from Kate Gray Nesbit on an assist from Tyler Grace Sims.

Holmes led 1-0 at halftime.

The Lady Bulldogs took a 2-0 in the 72nd minute on a goal from Mallory Sutton on an assist from Maddie Caldwell.

Aly Vancor got the start and went 45 minutes in goal with one save. Lilly Callum had the remaining 45 minutes in goal and had two saves.
