SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell below .500 in the North Division here Tuesday with two losses to Northwest Mississippi Community College, 8-2 and 12-8.
In game one, J.R. Hall suffered the loss. The Bulldogs mustered three total hits from LaDerick Williams, Josh Crowder and Tal Tucker.
In game two, Brennan Marque suffered the loss. Holmes scored five runs in the top of the seventh and were not able to pull even with the Rangers. Jaylan Bledsoe and Steven Blanchard each had two hits while Jalen Nelson, Tucker and Williams each added a hit.
The Bulldogs travel to Coahoma on Thursday in a 1 p.m. doubleheader before hosting Itawamba on Wednesday in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
