Bueche joins Holmes athletics as assistant trainer

Louisiana native Ernest W. "Buster" Bueche II has joined the Bulldog Athletic Department as an assistant certified athletic trainer.

Bueche came to Holmes from Donaldsonville, La. High School, where he served as the head athletic trainer there. His mother and grandmother have roots in Mississippi, where they grew up in Brookhaven but now reside outside Gonzales, La. in Geismar, La.

The 1997 East Ascension High School graduate holds a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Southeastern Lousiana University and is completing his master's degree in higher education administration from Nichols State University. He also spent three years in the Navy and one at Nichols State University before getting his bachelor's degree.

Along with covering athletic events at Holmes, he will also be responsible for athletic training at area high schools including Williams-Sullivan High School, J.J. McClain High School, Central Holmes Christian School, Winona Christian School and Durant High School.

In his spare time, Bueche likes to hunt and fish along with his love for athletics.
