Bulldogs go to 4-1 on the season with big win over Hinds, 1-0, in 2OTs

RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in the North Division with a impressive double-overtime win over the Hinds Community College Eagles. Christian Eslava scored the winning goal on an assist from Wesley Noble.

In other games during the early season, the Bulldogs defeated Copiah-Lincoln, 4-1; fell to Northwest, 1-0; defeated Southwest, 9-1; and defeated Jones, 2-1, in double overtime. Against Co-Lin, Zach Martin scored in the 43rd minute of the first half on an assist from Noble, Travis Offield scored in the final minute of the first half, Noble scored in the 21st minute of the second half and Martin scored in the 18th minute of the second half.

Against Southwest, Joel Culpeper had three goals while Drew Pegues added two goals and three assists. Eslava, Bryan Diaz, Offield and Cameron Lomonaco each added a goal while Charlie Hancock, Noble, Hunter Randall and Ulysses Vazquez each had an assist.

Against the Jones Bobcats, Noble scored two goals.
