Lady Bulldogs go to 2-0 on the season with 66-58 win over Pearl River

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs went to 2-0 on the season here Monday night with a 66-58 win over the Pearl River Lady Wildcats.

The Lady Bulldogs will play Copiah-Lincoln on Thursday night in Wesson. The game can be watched on colinathletics.com.

Holmes held a six-point lead at halftime, 29-23. The Lady Wilcats pulled to within one with 3:34 to play and then tied the game with 1:20 to play. Holmes then pulled away down the stretch to secure the win.

Kierra Gilmore led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points while Dierra Gilmore followed with 10.
